A little Behind on the Post!

So I am a little behind on the post! Mostly because I started school! The library is growing on me! I had a really rough start (apparently not everybody loves me, but don't worry I am winning her over)! Last week and today have been really good! I have learned how to order books and I am getting better at it as long as I type in the right account number into the program! I also call the Century Librarian about 2-3 times a day! (She was recently named the librarian of the year for the state of Idaho so I am learning from the best) I have turned 28 and celebrated like I was 5 by throwing my own Birthday Party! I have been telling people I was 28 for a long time so it is good to finally be that age! (I forgot how old I was) I went on a date! I called my friend Colton Walker and asked him to go on a date with me! He said He had the perfect date!  So I totally let him plan it! (He showed up about an hour early which is so Colton) We flew Kites at the top of Red Hill and made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! I had a lot of fun but it confirmed that Colton and I are just friends! I am still need one more date this year! I am going to try and ask someone who I don't really know that well! I am a little unsure who it will be but I am going to try and stretch and grow!

Lake Coeur D' Alene and Lake Pend Oreille

Lake Coeur D' Alene was Beautiful! We walked around a little hill called Tubbs Hill!
This was at the beginning of the hike! The funny story about this picture! I asked Emily to take a picture of me but my smart camera asked if someone closed their eyes! The funny thing is that their eyes were open they are just squinty! Emily thought it was the funniest thing she had ever seen!
I am super excited!
All of us together!
I love this picture!
It was so Beautiful there! The sun was setting!
The view from my rock!

After we finished our hike we went to the Deck Side Restaurant and got a Butterfinger Sunday!

These pictures are from Lake Pend Oreille:
It was super beautiful!
We took these on a Sunday drive! It was  a look of fun! Emily read out load to us form Harris and Me by Gary Paulson! I loved it because both Emily and Melissa would be laughing so hard they couldn't read!
This is a Melissa steathly taking a picture of Idaho Navy base! I am super excited that they test submarines!
So the funny thing is we have been staying on this lake the whole time and I thought guys we still need to go to lake Ponderay! Then I googled it and was super funny to find out that the lake we have been staying out is Lake Pend Oreille was pronounced ponder ray! Who knew! Stupid French!
Sitting at our table on Sunday!
This is the super funny artist rendition of the first picture in this blog! This road trip was so much fun! I loved every part of it!

The Oldest Building in Idaho!

The Oldest building in Idaho is a chapel built by the Coeur D' Alene Tribe. Jesuits missionaries had came to Northern Idaho and converted the Coeur D' Alene to Catholicism! The tribe decided to make a church so they could have a place to worship God!
This is a look at the building from the visitor's center!
Emily and Melissa taking it all in!
Dyed with Huckleberries (the state berry)

I love the hand made wall paper!
Me in the oldest building in Idaho!
Me in front of Oldest Building in Idaho! I was so stoked!
This is a good picture of how they build the church with grass and hay from the surrounding fields!
This is in a side building! If you look super fast the statue looks like Michael kind of!
I think it looks so beautiful!

"It's a real Parade! Get of the Car! Get out of the Car"

I am super excited to finally get to Idaho!
I loved the Northern Idaho trip! But out of all the places I loved the most I loved Wallace!
When we pulled into Wallace there was a Cop Car in the middle of the road and we wondered what was going on! Then as we got closer we could see it was a parade! Melissa yelled "It's a real parade! Get out of the car! Get out of the Car!" So we jumped out of the car and took a few pictures really fast!

Wallace was having an Accordion Festival! We were so excited!

I love these pictures!
In the center of Wallace we took pictures at what was the center of the Universe!
We had huckleberry shakes that were so amazing! We really had a lot of fun!
We went back to Wallace and went to the little museum that was very fun! It was one of those museum that I would one day like to work at! I loved it! The Lady working there really loved her job!

Melissa ringing the bell!
I was way to short!

This is a little part of the Accordion Festival!

Hot Tub Man

So I have never really had normal interaction for with boys my whole life! They have pretty much ignored me so when they show me any attention I just can't handle it! Even if it is fake attention like Justin's! While on our Idaho Territory Road Trip we ended up staying in Missoula, Montana because we spent to much time in Big Hole! So we tried to find a place to stay but it was a little bit difficult! Apparently according to the desk clerk at the hotel we finally found there was a testyfesty going on! So when we were checking in a man came in and said "Hey Ladies! I have extra towels! If you want them I am in room 314!" We just laughed and then went up to our room! Emily and Melissa really wanted to go to the pool! So we have the pool to ourselves and we are having a good time! The water was really cold and we decided to go to the hot tub! We went into the hot tub and the jets were causing my swimming suite to fill with air and we were laughing at it! Then in walks towel guy! He said "What are you guys laughing at?" Remember how I don't know how to react! So I told him we were laughing at my swimming suite! Then he said "Stand up and show me your suite"
Me: Nope!
Man: Come on!
Me: Nope!
Man: Ok! Can we come in!
I got up and moved in between Melissa and Emily!
Man: I can see your swimming suite it is just fine!
Then I had to explain that it was floating up because of the Jets! Then he decided said that he was more then willing to come hold it down for me! I told him thanks but I would be fine! Then he came and sat by me! Oliously because of my excessive giggling he knew that I was a tad uncomfortable!
Man: I want you to know that I am not a pervert! I am just a normal guy! If I was a pervert I wouldn't be here I be at a high school not here! How about you give me a hug?
Me: Nope (Now don't think that I took this slave and sophistication! I was so embarrassed A: That a boy that I didn't know was talking to me! B: That I was in a hot tub and a stranger is asking me trying to hug me! As Kenna said that She doesn't hug me why would he hug you! I giggled and giggled and giggled)
Man: Why not it is just a little hug!
Me: I don't even know you!
Man: I am a nice guy!
Me: I am sure you are a nice guy! But I am not going to hug you!
Man: Why not? I remember what you were wearing earlier today (He knew my clothes and
Me: I don't even know your name I am not going to hug you!
Man: My name is Ernest!
Me: Curtis
Ernest: No Ernest!
Me: Oh sorry but I am still not going to hug you!
Ernest: (To Melissa) You will hug me?
Melissa: Nope
Ernest: (To Emily) Will you hug me?
Emily: Sure why not! (the funny thing is that Emily is the only one married)
So as hard as Ernest tried I would barely talk to him and will not hug him! He tired to get Emily and Melissa to say that I was crazy for not giving him a simple hug and when they defended me he is shocked that they didn't throw me under the bus!
Ernest: This ladies are perfect wing men because they really love you!
Me: Yes they do!
But I was getting super hot because I really hate hot tubs! So I went to got out of the hot tub and into the pool! I should have stayed in the hot tub cause then he checked me out and I was totally freaked out and just jumped in the pool! I was totally weirded out! Apparently Ernest told Melissa and Emily that he really did think I was hot and that 314 was his room number! Holy weird, but this story was to good not to share! Emily and Melissa thought it made the trip! I thought it was funny and I never want to be in that situation again!

IdahoTerritory 150 year road Trip!

Did you know that in the year 1863 Idaho Territory was created! That means this year is Idahos sesquintual (I can bearly say it let alone spell it) 150 year birthday! In celebration of this Melissa and I decided we need to take this opportuntity to take to the Northern Idaho road trip that we have always talk about! So Emily was kind enough to humor Melissa and I on all the awesome stuff we wanted to do! I ran into my institute teacher (Bro. Laga) that once lived in there and he thankfully he gave us an outline! Well anyone who knows anything about Idaho there is no direct route to Northern Idaho from Southern Idaho! The reason why is the Idaho Bathalith! A huge chunk of basalt that is in the middle of Idaho and really prevents any true settlement! So the fastest way to Northern Idaho is to go through Montana!
My camera broke! Boo! We had already had a blast at this point! We will forever remember the loneliest whale! You will never be as lonely was this whale! I love it!
We really wanted to go to a ghost town! Bannock according to Brother Laga is a real ghost town! I was really really sad to find out that a flash flood in July took the town out and it was closed for reconstruction! I was super sad! This is my super sad face!
The next stop on the trip was the Battle of Big Hole! This was a major battle between the Nez Pierce Native American Tribe and soldiers! The Nez Pierce had been running through Idaho and this Battle happened just over the boarder in Montana! I read a Chief Joseph so I was really excited to see it!
The battle ground!
These are Tee-pees that a decedent set up to honor their ancestors!
A close up on the tee-pees! It was really interesting to see the place where the people had set up their camp without the realizing a different army where right behind them! I loved the battle field it was well worth the drive!
