So I was not a glowing pregnant person I was super sensitive. It wasn't the easiest thing I have done. I have also had gestational diabetes. I didn't let a lot of people know because I wanted to manage it on my own and not have people judge me and what I was eating. I did pretty good considering I wanted nothing more then a milkshake all the time. I was super lucky because I was able to control it with diet and exercise. So needless to say I really wanted McCovey out of me so I could have a milkshake. I found out that my doctor was leaving a few days before my due date! I told him that I wasn't ok with that, we had gone through nine months of this together I didn't feel that he has the right to leave me at the very end.
We went into a doctors appointment and he said the McCovey was measuring a little small and wasn't growing right. We had an ultrasound and he seemed to be ok but they were thinking he had run out of space to grow. So Dr. Cox decided that he would induce me on the next Monday. The hospital called us on Monday and said hey can you come in at 1 and I said Sure just let me shower and eat!
This is the last picture Dave and I took before we became parents. We went to 5th Street before going up to the hospital.
