1st Date 3rd Anniversary

Dave and I never really celebrate our actual anniversary but we always celebrate the anniversary of our first date! I remember thinking this is the best date that I had been on and he is so cute! The funny thing is I still feel the same about him! He is the best date and I really think he is super cute!

Shoshone Falls

This is the first picture of the baby that it looks like a real baby and not a black dot. I am about 13 weeks along in the ultrasound.

Last year we went to Shoshone Falls but the water was not as powerful for the time so I told Dave that this year we needed to go during spring break and because we had such a hard winter the falls was extra beautiful! So here are a ton of pictures of the same thing but all of them are so lovely I don't want to delete any!

Vegas Baby

Dave and I decided we needed to have a little get a way over president week end so we went to Vegas! The best part of Vegas is that it is exactly in the middle between us and Jayson and Tami! So we met them there.

Jayson and Tami were not getting there till late so at the very last minute Dave and I decided to go to Beatles's Love! It was a great decidion! Dave and I loved it!

I would like to point out this is a picture of Dave and the beginning of I am not going to shave or cut my hair til the baby comes.

This is a picture of Dave and I at the pool! It was really cold and since I was about two months pregnant I couldn't get into the hot tub! Dave eventually did get in and I sat on the edge and it ended up perfect.

Kia loved the arcade. He didn't need to play the actual game just sit on his parents lap and move the steering wheel.

One night we walked around Vegas looking for different things! We found the little zoo in the Flamingo. 

I love that the Flamingo has flamingos.

We watched the Bellagio water show! It was very pretty.

We had an enjoyable time with Tami, Jayson, and Kia! I love trips that don't have very part planned and that are about spending time with family.

Infertility and Baby

So the year of 2016 was so hard I had multiple cousins and a Sister and two Sister-in-Laws that announced they were having a baby. I had to learn to be happy for other people. I would be lying if I said I didn't cry everytime someone announced but I tried to do it with just Dave and my mom. Someone should never have to feel bad because they had the precious blessing of being a parent. I got better the more people announced. I serious tried to be happy for people while I told myself  all the bad things that happens when dealing with children and why parenting is hard. We started to plan a DisneyWorld trip and I would focus on my masters. We still took the clomid and paid attention to my oviliation. My period was really famous for showing up 5 days after my period should have started so I had a rule that I couldn't take a test until 5 days after my period should start. Dave just so happened to be home on a Thursday and so I texted him that when I got home I would be taking a test! I was freaking out all day! I was so nervous I peed all over myself. Normally in the passed it takes a while for the marks to appear but this time it was instant. I took the stick into Dave and he was like what? I and I said we are having a baby! I think I was in shock! I knew how to handle a negative test but a positive test. So we decided not to tell people. I even saw my mom and didn't tell her. We took an expensive test to make sure that it was right! Well the next day I had one of the most anxiety filled days I have ever had. I called the nurses station 4 times because I couldn't talk about it to anyone else! Dave worked till 9:30 so by the time Dave came home I was sobbing. All my thoughts about what goes wrong sure did bite me in the butt! The only way he could calm me down was to pick out baby names for me! These whole pregnancy it seems to be the go to move for Dave! I am not going to lie I am not the glowing type of pregnant lady! I am the grumpy mean kind. I get super offended at the first of the pregnancy. I finally told Dave that I had to tell my mom so that I wouldn't die and so I could call her and ask her my questions. We found out when I was about 5 weeks along. I didn't stick to the don't tell people rule very well! I told a few people and then a few more.

On Valentines Day we had our first appointment. It was exciting to hear the heart beat and to see a picture of what was suppose to the baby. I couldn't really tell what was the baby but here is the picture. 

I sent these out to let the rest of the Family know. 

Random Pictures!

People always ask me about Dave's hair and beard and why I let him grow them so long and I always reply ummm I don't care and it isn't my hair! 

This is Dave's little pony tail at the beginning of the year! He is such an individual and I love it!  

For Candice's birthday they rented a room at a Hotel and we all went swimming! I wasn't felling very good but the kids had such a blast! It was super fun, but once again I didn't do well at taking pictures but we sure did have fun! 

Kenna, Tia, and I decided to join Erin and Jerry going to Kinky Boots.  

Yup we were pretty stoked!  

The person taking our picture kept wanting us to do a different pose but we aren't that creative!

This is the new theater next to the Capital.

The play was so good! I really loved it!

@Highlandreads- Life in the library

This year I finally followed through and created a Highland instagram account! The purpose is to share the books that the students are reading! It had mostly been what I have read but there are some students that have shared! 

I love this book! I don't know how I feel about the rest of the book in the series but the first is so good!

I weeded the science section! It was really old! 

I did get some of the teachers to share! This teacher loves Shakespeare and he has a Star Wars book that is written like Shakespeare wrote them!  

We got a lot of new books! And sometimes I let them stack up to much!

I really loved this book! It is an excellent Historical Fiction Series!  

Temple Square Lights

I went to the temple lights twice this year! Once with cousins which I apparently didn't take any pictures of! We did have a lot of fun at we met Alexis' boyfriend Kevin!

This is my love! I am so grateful to have him in my life! He was my rock this whole year that was a little rough for me. In thinking I had endometriosis and having surgery where I found out that I didn't. Struggling with infertility and dealing with my craziness of being on Clomid. I cried at crazy things this winter and fall! I love him!
