Kyle

So Kyle sends the most Random things in packages! He is super funny!
This are empty boxes of matches! Yes empty boxes about 9 of them home!
Some dish towels for my mom, 2 pairs of his cowboy boots! And Bag Balm! Why because it cost $10 and he didn't want keep it but he also didn't want to throw it away!
Cups! As a early Christmas Present! Why for two reasons! 1st because Nathan loves the cups at our house! 2nd you can never have too many cups!
So I decided to send him a shirt! In his package just about as random as him!
I drew a tree first then a deer/elk/reindeer! I decided to label everything just incase he didn't understand!
I drew Idaho! I love Idaho!
This is a horrible picture of Texas! That is why I love Idaho Best!
Karlee and I! We both made shirts!
And a volleyball I was quite proud of myself!
I sent this all today along with stuff my parents gathered for him! I forgot to send a letter with the package! I am a horrible sister!

Stake Conference Talk

A few weeks ago I got a call from one of the members of the stake presidency! I thought about not calling back I convinced myself that if I was going to talk in stake conference they would have called more then just a week ahead! Lies! They were calling just a week ahead! My topic was how institute made me a more covenant person! HARD! 10 to 12 minutes! I am not going to lie it was hard to prepare for this talk because I couldn't really go to the scriptures on how institute help me be a better person! Natalie really helped me write the talk we talked about all the classes we have been in and what we learned from them! Jill helped with that too! I went to the temple to think about the structure and what people needed to hear from me!
I was super nervous! I was almost late because I was taking so long to get ready! It was a little rough! May different people have asked me how it went! It is always so hard to tell how your talks go so let me just share a few highlights! During the talk I told the whole state that I am really bad at talking to boys! I know that my arms were flaring because I could see my mom trying to get me to hold them! Then I preceded to tell the whole state that my mom was telling me to hold me hands! The first was a little bumpy! I think to think that I pulled it together at the end but I am not sure it happened! The reviews from people have been overwhelmingly good but sometimes when that happens it makes you wonder if that was because it really was good or because they all felt bad for me!
I just got a letter from the stake presidency that I would like to share not to brag or anything like that I am sure they sent this to every speaker but to remember it in my blog book! Things like this won't happen to me again! The first part cracks me up:

Sister Melissa Wilding
Speaker (Just in case I forgot what I did)

Dear Melissa,
We would like to express our appreciation to you for the wisdom and council you shared with us in state conference.

Your preparation was evident by the spirit you brought with you as you taught each of us about the importance of Institute and how it has affected and strengthened you. It was very inspiring.

Many lives are touched in conference by the gospel messages given, and yours was one that touched us.

Thank you again. We appreciate your continued faithfulness and willingness to give of your time and talents. May the Lord continue to bless you for your example to others!
(Then it was signed my our state presidency)

I thought that was very nice of them to write this letter! It makes me feel like my talk might have been better then I thought it was!

Thoughts!

So this really might test the readers on their ability to "Speak Melissa" My thoughts are a little all over the place! First off I went to the institute dance on Friday! You are surprized I know! Well my good friend Ryan really wanted to go to the institute Halloween dance! I really didn't want to go but I rarely do what Ryan wants to so I decided to go. So I went and it was a tad bit akward! Half of the people were former students and I know that they were thinking "What is Ms. Wilding doing here? Weird" I was thinking the same thing! What am I doing here! Not only did I noticed my students, but I also noticed the people that were at the institute when I was a the institute! The only two that I knew was a girl we called "Smelly Shelley" (something I am not proud of) and the boy that every body avoided! I thought to myself oh gravy this is my category! So on Saturday after cleaning my basement I decided to get pretty because I needed to know that I am not in the same category as Smelly Shelley! So when Kimberly was taking pictures of Ruby I had her take this picture of me and Ruby!
Which is not as bad on my computer as it was on my phone! I have a super red face in the picture!
So when I put this in the filters and it turned out to look a lot better then the actual picture! I feel like I photo shopped the photo! Then on facebook and instagram everyone was so nice I feel like I should come clean that the original isn't as beautiful!
Now the next thought! Are you ready for another Justin story? So I have been trying to be friends with Justin. So I have been inviting him to things but he never comes! This week I invited him to come to dinner with Emily, AJ, Kenna, and Alex! See I didn't want to be the single person with all the married people so I invited him because he new all of them! We text back and forth about the plans all the time I was thinking this was just a group of people having dinner and hanging out! We decided that even though he had to leave early he would come and pick me up and then I would ride home with Kenna and Alex (see not a date)! So he showed up like 15 minuets early and I made him help me get some apples for Emily and AJ! He opened the door for me and then we started to drive to Emily's house! It was really funny because I knew they lived on Garfield and I thought I would remember the house but I didn't and even when I said Justin we passed it he just kept driving! So then we were close enough to the Stadnrod Mansion and you all know how I love the most prettiest house in all of Pocatello (If you didn't then clearly we have never driven in old town before, I wrote my senior thesis on it)! So the conversation followed through the whole night with everyone participating! We had fun there was no worries! He made fun of me because I am a bad actress and I rubbed it in his face that even though I didn't like Luna (AJ and Emily's dog) she liked me more then him! We told Kenna's show 'n' tell story! Emily shared crazy stories from her childhood! She told the story about the Robert's first sacrament in the 7th ward!  8 rolled a round and he got up by the door and stood there like he didn't want to leave! But then he did and I stayed another hour and a half with Kenna and Alex! So when Cami and Natalie both text me how was your date I laughed at them and said it wasn't a date! And they said yes it was! I said no  he left without me and Cami said rude date! I said it wasn't a date! So imagine my surprise at Doran's birthday on Saturday that we are having this same fight in person with Cami!  Cami informs me that Alex even said it was a date because  I  touched Justin's arm! I laughed and said "it still wasn't a date and that Alex shouldn't be the judge". So I called over Kenna who usually alway's takes my side but marriage has corrupted her! Kenna said it was a date too! Then I said "it wasn't a date!" Then Kenna said "Did Cami tell you what Alex said" I said "Yes that it was a date because I touched Justin's arm" Kenna said "No there is more then that" So then she called over Alex to tell me what he said, but he was to embarrassed! Then they did a you tell her, no you tell her bit! Finally Cami said "I will tell her! Alex said that you gave Justin the Wilding love eyes!" I laughed and said that I didn't even know what the "Wilding love eyes were" So Alex said " You did them! Kenna does them too that is what got me" So then Kenna showed me what the "Wilding love eyes" were and both Alex and I where a tad embarrassed! I am not denying that I made the "Wilding love eyes" but I am denying that they had that meaning! Right now I am a little out voted on the whole date thing, which I still believe wasn't a date, but I think the only person who can settle this fight is Justin and one day in a few years when I get brave enough to ask him if it was a date or not I will inform you of what he thought it was!

Jill's cousin did 4H! We were super excited to participate on the other part of the fair!
He did an awesome drive! This is called trail! Something a rancher would do on the trail!
It's not the fair until the Cotton Candy Comes out!
Baby Donkey! According to Jill the cutest thing in the world!
Jill and I super excited at the Chris Young concert!
Kenna and Kinze were probably the most excited!
This is Justin's slightly fake smile! I may have forced him to take this picture!
I heart this man!
Kyla and Ryan! They were super excited!
This was Justin in the middle of the concert! He seriously loved it! Glad he hummered us!

Wilding Mackay Reunion

Every August we get together with Just our family and we head up to Mackay! To Julianne's Cabin! We used to spend our summers there as little children! Kenna and Kyle went so many times that Julianne's neighbors thought they were her children (Let face it it is not to far from the truth)!  This year we decided to go on a hike! I was very hikey this summer it was very weird for me!
Kenna Alex and Kim on their way up to Big Mouth Cave!
I got head at one point! Weird!
Me at the topish! It was so very pretty that I really wanted a picture!
Michael and Kimberly on their way into the cave!
Me inside!
What a cute little family! Yes we did bring Ruby! She walked a little bit but mostly Kimberly carried her up!
The whole family! We loved hamburger night!
Michael and I jumping in! I jump for Kyle but Michael jumps for pure craziness!
Alex and I playing in the river! Look at him! So proud!
The river group!
I remember that we had a lot of fun singing at the top of our lungs and watching Cinderella Rodger and Hammerstein! Sorry this is what you get when you blog two months later!

Homecoming-ISU

I love ISU Homecoming! This year was a little different because I only went to parade because I decided to go with my family to Utah!

This is the picture from last year with my Baby Bengal! A lot has changed in a year! I think I might have grown more then Ruby :) Good to know we can both wear the same outfits!

I love the tail of this costume!
Ruby taking a break from the Parade! It is hard being this cute!
She did like the parade!
I make them have Bengal Pride (I may have purchase these outfits)! I love this little Family!
Natalie! She loves it to! I love Ruby's face!
Melissa you are crazy! I am almost positive that is what she is thinking here!
After the parade we went to Costco! Where I fed Ruby some pudding! I am seriously the best Aunt Ever! I also had to keep reminding people that she was a Bengal not a tiger!
Ruby Loves books! She saw this one and we played with it for a bit but she loved it so much I just had to get it for her!
I Love these people because no matter how crazy I am or what I want them to do, they will do it with me! I know each of them loves me in their own way and I love them back!
GO BENGALS!

Homecoming-Highland

So I had such a busy Summer that I might be able to Blog about the Summer Till Christmas! But I really want to talk about Homecoming! I love Homecoming on the High School and ISU level! This year they both happened on the same week! Usually I have all of the awesome clothes that I wore but this years Homecoming was so much cooler then my awesome outfits!
Can you Guess Who this is? She seriously smashed it with this costume for 'Merica Day! PS It is Terri Mitton! She seriously is my idol!

The week before Homecoming Sarah came into my office for soccer practice and said "Guess what I am going to be Queen!"
 I said What?
She said I am going to be homecoming Queen! "Oh you were nominated!"
"Yes! I am going to be Queen!"
So I called the teacher advisor to make sure Sarah had the story straight! She was nominated for Homecoming Queen and the Senior class really wanted her to win but they were a little nervous because the whole school voted! I relied the message to Karen so that she could prepare just in case Sarah won! We might have cried a little bit for the awesomeness of it all! That the senior class would pull for one of their own that was an amazing person but most defiantly not the Barbie Doll/Popular type that you would think a "Homecoming Queen" would look like! To Sarah though she had already won! She didn't obsess about it or make a big deal she just knew she was queen! On Monday when the everyone voted I was super excited! I wouldn't have minded if Sarah won queen but I thought how cool for her to get to wear a pretty dress and go to the dress so I was hoping for an attending spot but really hopping that the students would pull through! I helped count the ballots and new the race was pretty close! Sarah and Timmy were neck and neck! In the end Sarah won! I was so happy! I was super stoked! Even though everyone wasn't suppose to find out till the next day I had permission to call Karen and tell her! Karen was so happy! We cried! We talked about how this was a testament to Sarah's personality and her love for people! You can't walk down the halls of Highland with Sarah with out her asking everyone "Who are  you"! I am proud of the Highland Student Body and their ability as a whole to look past the outside and see the person inside! The King was a boy named Derek who has cerebral palsy and walks with a limp, but the students don't care! I love Derek he is so cute and one of the nicest kids ever! It is good to know that the students can see that too! At the assembly Derek's mom just cried because she was so happy for him! So I cried with her of course! This just makes me happy and I see a bright future for the world! I know Highland isn't perfect but as a whole the students are working to make the world a better place! They as young people are figuring out what some adults still haven't figured out. They know the value of kindness and they will use that as they go out into the world. I am greatful to work with such promising people! I am greatful to be able to spend time with Sarah! She brightens my day tremendously every time she walks into my office! I am a better person from knowing her.

Sarah just after her name was announced!

Sarah getting crowned!
Sarah after the assembly!  She is so pretty! She is wear a dress that Karen sowed in two day! Wow she is amazing!
Timmie and Sarah! I think these are my two most favorite students at Highland! Beautiful!
Me and Sarah! Right before this picture Sarah said "We're best Friends" and I said "Yup we are!"
Sarah and I at the game! She is cute don't ask me what I am doing!
Sarah on the Football field she was so cute! She did a little curtsy! Ahh I may want to cry right now!
Sarah with the Nacho's she may or may not had to be bribed with to get there to go in front of the camera's!
She is adorable and her picture will hang in the Highland Commons forever!
