Oh Grandma

How do you start a blog post about how your grandma died. Waylan had broken his leg at Indian Creek and had a major cast that covered his waste down the broken leg and had a weird hole where you could change his diaper. My Grandpa, Grandma, and Jenny brought up one of Jenny's old wheelchairs so that Waylan could still get around.
It was nice to seat around and talked to them on the 4th but it was a little weird to see them on the 4th. At one point I looked over at my grandma and told her wow you look like you are glowing! The sun was hitting her perfectly and she looked truly happy.
Dave, McCovey, and I went home later on that day.
We got a call about 3 in the morning. Saying that Grandma had fallen off their porch and broke her neck and was in the hospital. I went and picked up Kenna and on the way to the hospital, I could not stop laughing. Kenna said seriously you have to stop before we get to the hospital. I think it was just me releasing energy. Once we walked into the room I knew she was gone.
Grandpa, Mom, Minnie, and Chester, and Aunt Raina (Grandma's Sister) the next day decided to take Grandma off of life support. She didn't want to live that way.
It was really weird because I didn't cry about my grandma till her funeral and only because I knew that McCovey would grow up without knowing my "Crazy Grandma" who chased me down trying to pay me for doing things for her. Who loved things obbessedly. Seriously one time she wouldn't let me watch Dirty Dancing so we watched the ending like 6 times. She loved really weird movies just like Kenna, they would drag me to them and I would be like what are we watching! She taught me how to love 70s music. Oh, I miss her so!
She loved her grandkids so there was never a question about that. She also had no problem being herself.
People always asked how Jenny was doing and it was the weirdest thing! Jenny was really quiet and very peaceful I think it was because Grandma was with her.
McCovey might be a little bit like me!
One of the many stories that I love is my grandma would get money out of her and my grandpa's bank account and hide it in their room. She wouldn't tell me grandpa where it was she would tell him "it's my money not yours" and Grandpa would say "Trudy you can have all the money you want any time you don't have to hide money" but she didn't care. We found over $3,500 when we went through the stuff.
My grandma loved to get her nails done so we went to the salon that she went to and got pedicures. When we were there we had a medium tell us that grandma was there with us and she was laughing and was happy. She also told us that Grandma would be moving things around the house so know that it was her. This had been happening.
Aunt Raina and I matched so we took a picture.
Then Ruby and Nicole wanted to join us.
I truly felt more connected to my little Whitworth family at this time. It was very nice.
I took this picture of Uncle Chester's family at the graveside.
After the funeral, we went to Grandpa's house to hang out. When we came out of the house the sky was pink and there was a rainbow!

It felt like Grandma was telling us she was ok and that she loved us!
