Post of Potty Training Mom

McCovey was really excited about potty training for about two weeks and now it has gone done hill. He had taken to just peeing while you talked about going to the potty and now straight up refuses couple this with the fact that our dryer went out. McCovey is in pull-ups living life potting whenever he feels like it.

So I have decided to list all the cute things he does so that I can remember when I want to kill him.

  • When you ask a McCovey a question like Do you want to go to Grandma's or for a walk! IF he is really into it he will shout "I do"
  • McCovey has the best timing with the word Nope. When he uses it he usually makes it into a two-syllable word Noo-ope
  • McCovey loves Mickey like nobody else
    • He as learned that when he is sad he should slump his shoulders and pout a little bit
  • He loves to chicken wing dance it is so very funny
    • He has taken to dancing on top of Natalie's coffee table seriously I need to video tap it
  • He loves the song Into the Unknown from Frozen II. He sings it all the time
    • Natalie with sing it with him it is my favorite.
  • McCovey love to run and give hugs
  • I have been crying a lot more and it bothers McCovey. He will wipe the tears from my eyes and say, you ok mom.
  • He has been getting mad and banging his fits to help prove his point
    • My mom says he gets it from me
  • When he can go something or gets himself into a pickle he yells Help!
  • To Dave, he will pretend he is stuck on the stairs and he will yell help till Dave comes and gets him
    • He tries to do it to me but for some reason, it drives me crazy and I say think your way through it
  • The funniest thing happened the other day! McCovey came in and slept with us because he was sick and Dave couldn't take it so he went and slept downstairs. I was having a dream and I was yelling at a student and I felt something by my lip and I did want any person would do I bit it. McCovey instantly started to cry because I had bit his finger.  He was yelling for a sticky which is a band-aide. By the time I got the band-aide, he couldn't remember what finger I had bit. I also don't think he realized that it was me that bit it because he was asleep when it happened.
  • Overall he really is a good boy he is just super stuborn and struggles doing anything that isn't his idea.
