My Grandpa Kent and Grandma Trudy have been married for 55 years. Both of them had been baptized but have never been active. I didn't think my Grandma was a member for a really long time. They have always had Home and Visiting Teachers which came faithfully. As a family, we knew that we could never really push the church so we just invited them to things. At the beginning of this year, my Grandpa's Bishop challenged them to read the Book of Morman. And he did. We all held our breaths while he and grandma attended church every Sunday. We were hoping they would be able to go through the temple before Kyle's wedding but Bishop said September was the time they could go through the temple. So they picked September 27th their 55th wedding anniversary to be sealed.
