So during Indian Creek we decided that we were going to go with all of the Cousins that could make it to the Flune! Some how it happened that it was just me and the boys!
I really really love all of these boys!
Let me first discuss what the flune is, it is a metal canal that goes over the bear river in Grace! I have always heard about flune for a while and I am never able to go or not invited! So I have been super excited to go! I also had some anxiety about it. Well I wish I had a picture of the flune. It took me awhile to jump in but I did! It was super fun the current just pushed you down the flune! I did have a a small panic attack! Sometimes I just have anxiety about things that aren't really scary to me normally! At the bottom of the flune is an eddie that we played in for a while! The real challenge is watching back over the flune! The path back is super duper old wooden boards that are lain over the top of the flune! I was super freacked out. So I just talked about the flune to Kyle! Hey, kyle do you know that who owns this? Kyle: I don't know! Me: It has to be someone! It would have to be maintained! I just kept having this the whole way. I was just dying. Right at the end I miss stepped and I almost fell in and then I started to cry! I just has to let it out. I went multiple times after that but I still talked on the way back! I was pretty proud on myself! We went through the mountain. It is pretty freaky because old cables touch your legs! I made Michael hold my hand the whole way through. I didn't play on the rope swing or jump off the 52 foot bridge but I thought I was doing great! Then Michael decided to go swimming at 60! 60 is down this crazy path where is was schotting down rocks right next to drop off that would kill you! I also climbed down a schetcy ladder and when I could quite touch I yelled at the boys "This is why I hang out with the girls!" I made it down but their was moss and baby leach looking things! It was beautiful! I didn't swim much but after Michael threw moss in my hair I had to jump in (even though it still wouldn't come out! seriously Michael was dunking my head like they do on Nacho Libre) Getting back up to the car was a bit of a challenge! After stepping on Michael's thigh, Nathan pulling me up and Kyle pushing my bum I got up! Clayton was the smart one and found a different route through the rocks! I had a lot of fun with the boys but I will probably only hang out with them every once and while!
