Where to begin!

I am not sure how to start the blog so I showed the picture first so you will have a good visual! I am not a good painter (as stated before) I am trying to finish my house (because it has been a month and half!) I decided to paint the celling in my bathroom with this special paint that Julianne said will block the brown spotts on it! So the blob of paint in my hair is from when the roller was to full! The hands of the hands! Here is what happened. Michael washes his rollers when he is done painting to use again so I decided to it too! Well for somereason the paint was not washing out like it usually does so I started to use my hands to get it off! Then the paint wouldn't come off my hands either! So I was wringing them in the hand washing motion but the situation was only gettting worse! I noticed that they water was balling up on my hands and that the water would just drop off and I thought! Stupid oil base paint! Yup sure enough I was using Kilz which is an oil base! I tried toliet paper and paper towels but this stuff was not coming off! I notice that I had missed a call from my handy dandy pall Nick so I called him back! Nick is a good friend of mine but I am sure I scare him on many levels (He one time told me he would walk in front of a bus for me that is just the kind of guy Nick is) I asked my friend is some one just happed to be covered in oil base paint how might they get it off! And there was he answer in between burst of laughter! Well you can scrub tell you take of a layer of skin! (No way Jose I like my skin) You could use paint thiner (but I don't have any, neither did he). I could always use gas! (Are you kidding me this is my face it is the only on I face). My dad was at a ward party so I went to the next best thing! Grandpa! Oh how I love my grandpa (even though he called the colors in my house drab)! I walked in and I could see the shocked look on his face and I said "Grandpa this is why I can't paint alone! Do you have any paint removal) So after waiting very paciently for the camera to arive because my grandma laughed at me and said that this had to be documented, He lovingly washed the paint out of my hair and off my nose! Then poured the thiner into a bucket so I could clean my hands!

This is not a good picture but My beloved grandpa misssed all of the paint dotts on my face because he couldn't see them or he thought they were funny!

This is the second go around of that stupid paint that seemed to haunt me all night!
After hearing of my tramatizing painting experinece my family came to the rescue (yes I did spell that by singing the song! Go Rescuers!)

I forgot to turn it but I am to tired to fix it! This is my Dad standing on my sink in the bathroom to cut in my new color! If it would have photographed I would have done it but just think of one of America's favorite ice cream flavors Mint Chocolate Chip (Which when I asked Michael what he really thought of the color he said he wanted to eat it) I just might add little dark spots in later for fun!

Not turned again Sorry! My mom cleaned the oil paint out of my sink (which once again does not leave with water! She didn't want to get dirty or ruin her beautiful hair that is why she is dressed to lovely!

Blast seriously again! Yes this is Michael standing on two paint cans on my not so stable chair! Man my family loves me!

What a mess! But what fun adventures for the rest of us to read. I'm so glad you have a blog. And so glad Aunt Allison can comment now that she has a blog. It's not as good as being together but it's a nice second! And, after spending time together I read the Uncle Tom quote and it was in his voice inside my head, even his little chuckle after he says that.
Family rocks!

That is so funny! When we were at Disneyland one time Tyler grabbed hold of a post that had just been painted blue with oil base paint. Of course it didn't wash off so in order to avoid tears we told him goofy played a trick on him. His hands were blue for quite a while.
Looks like Goofy played a trick on you too! I just love your blog, but it sure makes me miss you guys!
