First/Second Day of South Dakota!

So obviously I have been on a few trips with Dave, I really shouldn't be shocked about what time we leave for trips! 

You can't really tell the time but it was 4:10! I wasn't that grumpy because that is better then the 3:30 we were talking about!

The Badlands!

I love this guy! It was fun to talk to him and his mom during out 17 hour car ride! 

It is such a beautiful landscape for a rest stop!

Dave bought the Hotel room through a website! So when we walked into the room and it was only the room . We called the front desk but we couldn't change it because of where we bought it!

might have happened! It actually wasn't that bad! Dave and I slept like babies! Candi on the other hand was a little bit weird out and when we woke up she was sleeping the opposite of us!

Candice wanted to show us all of the graves! She is amazing because she knows all of the stories and history of everyone! She has done their histories and temple work!

An old barn for Julianne!

When we arrived at Dave's Uncle Les and he hear a cat meow and then we checked the car and we could see a baby kitty! It had survived a 17 hour drive! The poor thing!

We had to go the this repair shop to get him out!

We took this kitty to a vets office to see if they could find a home! At first they didn't but after we left they found one so of course we had to come back!

Girl's Camp!

One of few joys in life is going to Girl's Camp as leader! I think I had more fun then as a girl! I think we stayed up way later then the girls every did!

We had these all around our camp! 

Your beautiful! One of the girls left this for all of the others to see! I had to laugh because I even knew they used the wrong you're! They had a lot of fun doing fun doing things for one another. We really tried to focus on service!

Dave's Fight with a rope swing!

Kyle, Dave and I decided to go to the Flune again! We had a ton of fun! The water was lower so it wasn't moving as fast! After we had been there a long time we went to the Bridge to jump of and play on the rope swing! What we noticed is the rope swing was in a different place then it usually was! The old rope had broke and the people who put it up again! So Dave was the first to try it again! Two things happened the rope didn't swing like it usually does and the rope went in between his legs! So went he let go it caught his leg and flipped him!

This is at my mom's house! We put ice on it so the swelling went down! He had to take two days off of work because he couldn't stand on it!

Whitworth Family Reunion

Mom and I came home from the Cabin so that we could got he the Whitworth Family Reunion! We didn't take very many pictures but it was a lot of fun.

I love this to picture! Kimberly put both of the girls in the swing!

I love that Dave was able to come he randomly worked into the morning!

I love this group of People! We had so much fun!

Travels of Melissa

So we got home from Disneyland at 10:00 on a Monday! Jill my old roommate was getting married in Rexburg Tuesday at noon! Dave and I went it was a beautiful sealing,but the funniest part was that Natalie's Aunt Laruie was Jill's helper lady and no matter how disruptfull Natalie and I were she still won't wave to us (it turns out that she didn't recolonize us-Natalie had super dark hair), Colton, Natalie, Jenny, Dave, and I went to AppleBees for appetizers because we were starving! Jeff met us there too! Then we went to the luncheon in Rigby! We had to leave earlier because I needed to got to Hailey that night to a Librarian conference the next day! It was an excellent conference! I learned from the Daring Librarian! She was awesome, I was super motivated by her! I also learned to call myself a Teacher-Librarian.  

This was some super amazing Huckleberry ice cream.

4th/5th Days: California and Home again

This was my first experience with California Adventures! I am not sure I loved it but I really don't think it was its fault! It was probably multiple different events! I think I would love if I gave it a second chance! I fists problem is we had been going so very hard, I was super duper tired! The Second part is in the morning it was so blasted hot! As a matter of fact I think that my favorite part was the Little Mermaid ride because it had air conditioning! We went on Screaming and it made Kenna super sick (one of the other reasons I didn't enjoy CA was because we got stuck in the Screaming line forever at least an hour and half maybe even longer and it was so hot not fun)! She didn't look good in the picture! The Toy Story was awesome as always!

The Cars ride! Seriously the most awesome ride there! We got fast passes as soon as we got there! It was so fun! Carsland looks exactly like you wanted it to! We ate at Flo's cafe! It was really good!  

What another Carousel! I love Dave's face! He is super funny! 

I feel bad because James and Tia were with us too but apparently we didn't take any pictures of them this day! The was the water ride that we didn't even get nearly as wet on as splash mountain!

So Shanta had a friend that worked at Tower of Terror and she got us fast passes! It was super awesome because no had told Dave about the ride! He thought it was going on a ride like The Haunted Mansion! When the guy told him to hang one to his personal belongings he was like what? And then when we dropped he was super surprised! It was really funny! I was dying because his reaction was so genuine!   

This was as close as I got to a parade! After we got done with the Haunted Mansion I really wanted to watch a parade! We once again saw an excellent spot and sat down while James and Dave went and got us Root-beer Floats! When right before the parade started they came an the speaker and said because of weather conditions they had to cancel the parade! Then a torrential rain came! Seriously they had rivers running down the street! We were soaked again but this time it was cold! I was super tired by now! Even Shanta telling us about the Disneyland gangs didn't really cheer me up like it should! There are people that seriously have gang turf wars over the different parts of Disneyland! They have wear denim vest that usually have a lot of buttons on the front and a patch of what gang they are in on the back (The Original Mickeys-Neverlanders are some of the names I can remember) After she told us I saw them very where! So by the time we met up with Dave and James again we were super soaked and our floats were melted! I was defeated and just wanted to go back to the hotel! I might have cried, ok I did! We played hard and my feet hurt really bad!  

On the way home Dave and Alex wore their matching shirts! It was super awesome! Dave and I also got into the biggest fight yet! We fought over music at Nephi and I didn't talk to him until Malad! That is pretty amazing feat if you know me! We talked it out at by Arimo!
