The World Series Game!

Dave and I walked down to the park from our hotel! It was a lot of fun! One of the things that we saw was a beautiful old historic building and the store that was in it was a Gap and a Forever 21! I found that super ironic!

Here is when we first got to the park! yes that is garments hanging out! But Dave didn't let me know and I didn't notice that my purse had pulled it over!

  

Dave was super excited to be there at the park! We got the the park about 1:00 for the game that started at 5:00! Dave wanted to show me all of the places of the park! It was a lot of fun!  We went to the Chevy tailgate party were you could play a game were you through the bags into a big hole! Dave didn't get the first one in and sunk the second and third bag and then hit the first bag in with the second bag! He won a program and  a hat! It was pretty cool! We also went into the dugout where we bought some super cool stuff! We got matching jackets and Dave a collared shirt that he could wear to work!

This is the Giants shirt we bought me so that I wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb!

I am excited to be there! 

Here are the famous garlic fries! I was hungry so this is the first thing we did when we got there! We ate them by McCovey Cove! It was cool to see all of the boats!

We were just stocked to be there! Even though the Giants lost the game we wouldn't have changed games because of the people that we sat by! There names were Lee and Jim! Lee was super talkative we really enjoyed talking to him! They were San Francisco natives and loved the game of baseball and the Giants! Lee was impressed that we were on our honeymoon! He said that his wife made him miss a world series to get married!

It was so sad when the flag ripped! But it was super awesome because Two fighter jets did a fly over! After that is when Lee turned to Dave and said "Do you know what sound that is? It is the sound of Freedom!"  

Little Big Town sang the National Anthem! It was really amazing!

Lee bought us some Cracker Jack! And Lee gave us some peanuts! I was stocked! 

The First Pitch of the Game!

The game was awesome! I was a tad sad there wasn't a home-run!Morse had a very good hit I thought was a home-run but it was foul!

It was super funny that I couldn't even see over the wall! Even when I stood on my tippy toes!

We had such a fun time! I really like watching sports live! It was a once in a life time event! The World Series was everything we thought it would be!

Day of the World Series

We stayed the night with my friend Melissa's Aunt who lives in Reno! It was super nice to stay with Friends! So Dave took this picture of his outfit for the world series! He istagramed it and it just made me happy! He was so excited!

This is Vallejo! Dave's Grandpa was from there and he thinks that he is from there! So we stopped at the rest stop in order to take these pictures.

We decided that since we were only staying in San Francisco for one night we would splurge and get a hotel downtown! We stayed at Hotel G! The traffic was crazy! But I learned of a new fear San Francisco Hills and Dave's Corvette! I am really proud of him! We struggled to find our hotel, even with the gps! We drove in a circle twice and had some of the scariest hill ever! I said some prayers! Our hotel was super old! It made me super excited! The room was pretty small with super high ceilings!

Kim and Penny's!

So my cousins Kim and Penny are practically homesteading in the middle of nowhere Nevada! Technicality it is Knot Creek Nevada! It was super beautiful! We decided that since it was kind of on the way to San Francisco we would stop by! I was super excited and it is not an exaggeration to say they live in the middle of no where!

This is me super excited to weigh cows! It was fun to have Kade and Kennedy home so they could hang out with us! I love visiting Kim and Penny at their ranches! It makes me  really want to live there but I think Dave just wants to visit! We were ever so grateful to Penny who made us lunch! Dave says it was some of the best homemade bread he has ever had!

Start of the Journey

So I should start out this story with letting you know Dave is a tad obsessed with the San Francisco Giants! On the game that decided on whether or not they would  go to the World Series I made Dave go to the temple instead! We hadn't gone in a really long time and I really wanted to go! I told Dave that Giants would win if he went with me! And luckily for me they did! When we were at dinner we accidentally heard that the Giants were going to the WS! Dave was pretty stoked and I causally mentioned that he should go! I said when will you have an opportunity like that! I was pretty stoked for him and told him to call his friends to see if they could go! But they would be going to Lambo field in Greenbay the weekend before and couldn't get the time off! Dave very nicely asked if I would go with him! I said yes cause we were going to go anyway in June for a belated honney moon! I told him I just wanted to stand on the conner of Haight and Ashbury! Costco was amazing and they worked it so that Dave could get the days off! They were impressed he didn't just call in! So I had a very excited Dave on my hands! I asked him when he wanted to leave and he said he set the alarm for 4:10! I said great :) I love mornings! So I rolled over early in the morning and Dave said its go time! He was very annoyingly happy! I was super grumpy and yelled go pack the car and let me get dressed! This is when I looked at the phone and yelled it is 3:40 Dave! I very grumpy! Apparently Dave had woke up and ready to go at 2! I should be very greatful for the later start!

This is the time that we were leaving the drive way! I was super grumpy we were leaving before the alarm was even supposed to go off! So every time I would wake up on the drive I would be super grumpy and Dave would say Babe go back to bed! So I tried to warren Dave about my morning grumpiness but I don't think he quite understood it until then! When we were in Wells, Nevada I was really frustrated and slightly yelled "Where is the sun" I felt like it had been long enough the sun should have been up! I went back to sleep and finally in Elko Nevada I woke up and decided to be happy! 

I even decided to take a selfie!

This is the problem with traveling west! The Sunrise is in the east!
