Homecoming Again! But this on is different!

There are very few things that I would miss conference for but call me a sinner or a rebell if you must but I missed converence to go ISU Homecoming! Because I love ISU! Not as much as the gospel but it is a tradition. I will read the missed conferences! The best part of homecoming is the great friends that love homecoming just as much as I do! Kimberly loves ISU and Homecoming the most!

We are twiners!
Not that other friends don't love it! I think it is more of a "I am going to love it cause Melissa and Kimberly are crazy! And will make us do it any ways!" attitude.  So here goes the traditions because we are all about tradition! Morning Breakfast, either we go to Elmers or this year it was Jumbo's! Then the parade! We park at the court house and sit some where near the Black Swan! The Parade starts at 10 but we are there by 9:30! If it is a old year then we have hot chocolate but it was so hot this year it made us laugh about the time Kimberly, Kelissa (it is like Melissa but with a K)  and I sat in kim's car trying to stay warm cause even that was cold!  We take pictures of Cami, Natalie, Kimberly and I by sticking out our arms! Michael did it this year and got a perfect shot in one take! (it was taken on Natalies Camera so I don't have it orr maybe Kims) This year we had a lot of extra people! Courtney and Andrew came with their kids which was nice that way our neighbors don't get mad at the space we take up!  Andrew, Kendra, Debra, and Zander came in the middle!  We yell at everything so we always get a ton of candy that no one wants! We sing the Bengal fight song and everything!
We love the game! Even though we hardly ever win! We were super close this year!
Towards the end of the 1st half we always take a picture break!
Funny Faces! The best part of this one is the older lady behinds me face!  The funny part is I am pretty sure that she is the mom of one of my cousin's husbands! Gotta love a big family!

 I heart ISU!

Brooklyn's Play Ground

Brooklyn's Play ground is an all accessible playground that is being build in OK Ward Park! They have really campanined to earn money to build it and the community has stepped up to get it built! Our stakes night was on Monday and we helped to build part of it! There was a bit of a delay they were only expecting 150 volunteers but got over 400!
Here is the view from the back of the play ground! Where I was helping!
This is the front part where I am pretenting to help and Ashley a girl in my ward is actually helping! I am guessing I look pretty young because two people that I talked to thought I was a student at Highland not a Teacher! That is my only other Hat and I had Hat hair from Homecoming week!

The Big 5-0!

So if any of you have met my Dad you would know that he is a pretty shy guy! How is got such load and obnoxous kids the world may never know! Well for a while we have been thearting him with throwing a suprise party for his big pary! My Dad doesn't like to be the center of attention (once again the kids unexplainable)! My favorite words from him are "I don't like all of this attention" right after his concision and it was just me and my mom around! Well in all honsety we are not brave enough to throw him a party, But My Aunt Mellonee was! She through one at Bryson's Homecoming in August. So here are a few pictures stolen from Tara's blog!
The Cake, I know 50 candles it is amazing no alarms went off!
He likes it deep down inside! DEEP DEEP down!
So on the actual day we needed to do something for him! He was hoping he would be in China but he was home! Missed it but 3 days! So close, we were excited! So I got this call last week from my mom that said what are you doing you need to go home and take pictures of your Dad as he comes home kyle hung balloons out side! So I rush over there to beat my Dad home to wait an hour for him to get there!

This is him getting home from inside of my super scecrit hide out inside!
Look how happy he looks! He just loves Birthdays!
All in All it was a good day! Kenna, Andy, Kimberly and I took him out to Jack in the Box (his chose I tried to convinvce him to go to 5 guys but there was no moving him) for a five dollar hamburger!

Its your birthday happy birthday!

So anyone who knows me know that I love Birthdays. I mean really who would love a day just for me! Well it might suprise people but I never take my birthday off because then who would tell me happy birthday? Yes I make sure that everyone knows it is my birthday so that when I walk around work I hear "Happy Birthday Melissa!" Then the people standing around them say "Its your Birthday, well happy birthday!" Then I reply "Yes it is my birthday, I turn 26 today" or "Thank You so much!" I mean really by the end of work I feel very special! And sometimes if I am lucky my students even remember or like this year one brought a cake! It was so nice. It may surprise you but I don't think presents are the best part! They are grately apprecated but not needed :) This year I did take a half of the day off to go to Kenize's wedding! I had such a good time! When I went through the line and I went to give Kenzie a hug and tell her how pretty she looked and she yelled at me "Today is your Birthday! Happy Birthday" Yup I don't think it will ever not bring me joy to hear that! The pictures are from my phone sorry! I didn't get one of Kenzie and Chris!
For my birthday I also went and saw Kade and Kota play in the JV West Jefferson game and Kennedy shake her thing during the Vasity! I have to say that having that much Family fun was the best Birthday Ever!

Kade is 64 on the end tot he east side of the picture!

Fun at the Eastern Idaho State Fair!

This is a sign that just makes me very happy! I am truly excited for this time of the year because it is the fair and my birthday!

The animals are some of the best of part of the fair! I also love the people that own the animals and really love to tell you about them! Like the cray rabbit lady and the very helpful cow lady!

Only the EISF would a man with a chainsaw be entertainment! And yes that is a rooster he is carving!

Doing things that you would never do it part of the Fair! This is Natalie and Kimberly when they are about to "walk on water" Sure they were the only people over 12 that did it! But they set the standard because later the Adults started the trend!

I am sure they would like you to know that it was super harder to then it looks! They had a lot of  fun and were full of giggles!

Natalie Kim and our Friend Melissa! I think the best part of the fair is the food! Awesome tortatoes :)

But Friends make all the difference! When the best of friends da da da.... (say the last line with the tune from fox and the hound)

I really heart the cotton candy and when you always get it on a stick and the last thing you do sometimes you have to talk the nice guys into spinning more cotton candy! And then you talk them into the making it as big as possible! Yup this is why we love the fair!

Just Something that I love!

Many people think that these paws are just a waste of money but I think they are awesome!!! Once they were up Kimberly and I were so excited about! We decided to take a picture since she came up this weekend!
