Lawn Mulet!

My dad is so very nice and on the record I am not complaining I just think this is to funny not to share! My dearest Scary Grandpa bought me a lawn mower! So from this picture you may see that my lawn is super duper long! So my loving Dad came over to see if I could use it! Well yesterday he did and he says he has a few things to fixed on it! And he apparently he also tired it to see if it worked! But he had other things to get to so he only did a little bit! So yes my yard has a mulet! Because it is business in the front and party in the back!

Now this really isn't a big deal because I took the day off to work in my yard and last week I really needed something to look forward too! Well Mother Nature thought my lawn mulet was so funny she decided to have another snow strom in April so I couldn't finish mowing it!

The white stuff is the snow (for those of you that have normal weathered lives) and also note that my wonderful Dad and Kyle chopped down the super ugly juniper tree!

No that music is not for me but for my wee little sister! On Saturday we went dress shopping Kenna was so very excited and so were Me my mom and Kimberly! We got up blasted early and headed down to Salt lake! I have decided instead of doing this inorder and tell you the long story I will do it by Dress!

In the end this wasn't in the dress! When we found out the price we were excited up a little over budget, but when we found out the alterations cost $400 because of the beading we all got really sad! We didn't want to spend that much on the dress but if we couldn't find anything else we would come back.

My dad was so cute when giving Kenna her budget apparently in order to stay up on the latest trends and to see the prices he watched "Say yes to the dress"! He shyly told my mom that he knew it wouldn't be enough but 500 was all he could give her. He was so sad and confused and hoped that she could find something! Ah he is so cute! He really is a great Dad, My mom did tell him that in real life that was more then enough to find a dress!

Kenna did find a dress! It was the one that made my mom cry! But she asked that I not post the pictures so that it will be a surrise when you see her! If you really want to see you might be able to talk her into a picture message! I will say it is somewhere in the middle of the dresses and she looks so beautiful! I am really proud of who she is and where she has come from! She will make a beautiful bride!

P.S. I will post a picture on the ring when she gets it sometime next week we hope! She is keeping Tuesday open for something!

Eggs! Its tradition!

So I love to die eggs! I really like traditions. And i really like egg salad sandwitches so that makes dieing eggs a double like! Last year we invited a group of friends and we died eggs so I decided to have a party! So I invited a bunch of people and bought 3 dozen eggs! Here they are after cooking them! Well no one showed up but the best people at first it looked like Kim and Natalie would have a whole dozen die ourselves but I invited Kyle up so it made it nine instead which made it a pretty good number!

My Brothers!

This is what my brothers do to keep themselves entertained! This is just Michael in the video but Kyle had welts on his stomach! Yesterday kyle wouldn't quit touching me in the car so I kept hitting his sore mucles. Not because I was being rude but because it was the only place I could reach! But he was mad and he hit super hard in my shoulder! Then he toughed me there later and it had bruised (only on the inside but there was a bump) But Michael got him back cause he had elbowed him super hard! Oh brotherly love!

You know you are old when...

You know you are old when you are on a date and one of your student is on a date at the same time as you. Yup I was playing pool with my date when in walked one of my student's walk in with his date! Good thing it was one of the shy boys who doesn't want to come up and talk to me cause that would have embrassed me! Oh the joys of being a single teacher!

Don't Click things that you shoudn't!

(I hate it when you get a whole paragraph in to a stupid blog and you find that you forgot to up load pictures) I Had one of those day yesterday that gives you migrains. My students were bad but they were good either. It all started about 4:30 (the time is important because no one was around) and I was looking for a world map on the internet and not finding the one I wanted. I found a few but was looking for a better one! I am found one but I wanted to get a better look so I over rode the filter (something I do all the time youtube is my new favorite teaching tool) and Bam! This thing comes up that says it is window secruity soft wear and that I have a butt load of viruses on my computer. (I have resently being thinking that I had one on the computer) Well this is one of the times that I only know enough to get me in trouble. I am super worry so I hit remove and I hit run! Well you think after doing this once I would have stopped because I wasn't getting anywhere. Well know I decided to call for help! So I called my neighbor Travis who onces braged about being good with computers (note to self don't brag about anything in front of mecause I am one of those friends that will make you do it) So I talked to him and he say Don't click anything and says I need to turn my computer off! Well I asked for help to late because I already inffected my computer with something. So I am stressing because I am going to need it the next day because I am projecting that stupid picture of a map on the board! I am asking Travis if my computre will be ok and he text back yes but "Don't click things that you shouldn't" I said thanks but it is a little to late now! So in the middle of the lesson from the place that isn't Heaven. There is a bright spot! Shauny Boy Adam Lemmon came home from is mission! He is so grown up! On the way to the Lemmon house I remember I need 200 (100 of something to represent population and 100of somthing to represent consumer goods consumer) magnets to put on my board. I am really searching my no-creative brain for an idea and then I just get furstrated and become a tad grouchy and worried about my computer! So I go to Walmart and in the craft ale I find some gooly eyes to represent the population and flowers to represnt the consumer goods. Well I need a 100 no promblem but on the stupid flowers it says: You can see that it say 110 pc. So me and my non-craftey brain think yes 110 flowers awesome just what I need. So I head back to Natalie's so she can help me cut magnet strips. Well the package lied! I just taugh my history kids about the truth in packaging Act of 1965 and clearly it was not strong enough because there were only 69 flowers. How that get to 110 I am not sure! After going back to the blasted store, here is the finally products:

Weekend High Lights!

So I have had an eventfull weekend! Instead of doing like four different post I decided on a weekend up date! The first thing I did this weekend was got the spring fling! I had a lot of fun even though it was super long! Then I came home and started packing for Utah! I am so ectremely excited when I got out my bag and found my Camera that had been missing and presumed stolen was not actully stolen just packed away for 2 months clearly I need to get out more or unpack all the way! This is the picture of my smiling because I have found my camera! Then i kept going out and talking to My room mate Kim, Natalie and Kenna instead of packing then I got down the Jelly-Belly's that Kim had purchase for her exboyfriend but our now yours :) It is quite large and we were joking because we weren't sure if we could ever eat it down!

But in the middle of discussing we thought of a new game (when I say we I mean Natalie)! We stuck our hands in the jar with our eyes closed and showed very one our color and then at the same time we put them in our mouths and try to guess what kind it was! It is seirouly stinking hilarious just to watch people's faces and reactions! how long did this keep us entertained for at least an hour!

After Everybody else went to bed Natalie and I talked till 1:30 about anything ranging from "You are the rule" and "Melissa, your feet really stink" This wouldn't be a big deal but Kyle had his first volleyball tournament we were meeting at my parents house at 8:00! So I pulled my butt out of bed and was only a little bit grumpy! Here are some of the pictures I took! Kyle is number 4!

He is the setter because no one else can set but he does pretty good coaching and playing at the same time! They had a lotof fun! They won one match and tied the rest!

After the tournament we went to Utah! But before we left we stopped at all of our houses! While at my parent's house Kimberly took a picture of Michael in the dryer and yes he fit even with the door shut! We didn't get into mine because I locked myself out! Remember I am an awesome adult! On Sunday we ate Dutch babies, Muffins, cinn-a-min rolls, and sausage! Yummm the Joys of Aunt Mellonee's house! During Conference I was very proud of everyone for staying a wake for almost the whole thing! (Except when Kyle kept telling us he wasn't sleeping and then his arm would swing because he was dreaming about volleyball-Or when I through the jellybean and hit Kenna right above the eye to wake her up and then it hit Andy and woke him up too) We trying but sometimes you just have to drawn on Alexis' toe and she might have to draw back on your toe!
